2009 Wimbledon vs. Venus Williams — 7-6, 6-2

Serena won her third Wimbledon title, defeating Venus in all three, and taking her 11th Grand Slam title. It was the eighth time in the last 10 years that a Williams sister has won Wimbledon and the eighth Williams vs. Williams Grand Slam final. In the first set, the sisters alternated winning service games, and Serena taking the tiebreak to win the set. They alternated winning their service games at the start of the second set as well, but Serena broke to lead the set 4-2. When Serena held serve to go up 5-2, it appeared that the match was hers. It took a lengthy, hard-fought final game to finally settle the matter.
